About
The movie making is not my job - this is my passion
My extensive journey within the CG industry commenced in 1992, driven by a deep-seated enthusiasm for computer graphics. What began as a personal passion blossomed over the years, culminating in the establishment of my own studio in the former USSR. Throughout my career, I have assumed various roles including 3D artist, compositing supervisor, art director, and CGI studio manager. In each capacity, my commitment has consistently been twofold: to deliver excellence in every project and to foster a culture of efficiency within my team.
Over the years, I have diligently pursued the adoption of modern, innovative methodologies aimed at optimizing the delicate balance between diligence and ingenuity. My guiding principle has always been encapsulated in the maxim, "An efficient individual within a skilled team is the key to simplifying even the most intricate projects swiftly and effectively."
Since 2002, my professional evolution has been marked by continual learning and diversified experience. This includes serving as a VFX supervisor on set, assuming responsibilities as a data wrangler, and extending my expertise to roles such as 1st AD and 2nd Unit Director.
I eschew idle discourse that detracts from productive endeavors and have a strong aversion to circular discussions. Instead, I am driven by a passion for meticulous planning, adherence to schedules, and a fervent pursuit of precision. My approach is centered on identifying optimal pathways to expedite project completion without subjecting team members to undue mental or physical strain.
I derive immense satisfaction from motivating my team, not merely through rhetoric but also by leading through example. When the exigencies of a project demand it, I readily contribute my expertise and labor to support the collective effort. Furthermore, I embrace opportunities to acquire new skills and problem-solving techniques, viewing each challenge as an opportunity for personal and professional growth.
